Getting Started
Before scheduling a first session, we will have a free 15-minute phone consultation to make sure we are a good fit and answer any questions you may have.
I look forward to meeting you where you’re at and working together!
I believe that at our core we are relational beings who thrive in healthy connection with one another. Yet, we all encounter barriers to connection with ourselves and others, because of the brokenness in our world. I am passionate about the repair and enrichment of all significant relationships.
My goal is that our therapeutic relationship will facilitate healing where possible, build skill where needed, and create acceptance of situations outside of our control.

I recognize we are complex beings, and with an interconnected nature of psychological, emotional, relational, spiritual and physical well-being. We will work together at your pace to explore the root causes of presenting concerns, while using tools to reduce current symptoms and distress. This process lends to greater self-awareness, healing, and growth.

Helping couples strengthen their connection is one of the areas I am most passionate about. It is common for one or both partners to feel uncertain about starting therapy or to wonder whether their struggles are "serious enough" to warrant support. In my work, I view the relationship as the client, seeking to understand each partner’s perspective while creating a space where both people can feel heard, supported, and understood. There is no taking sides or determining who is “right.”
Many couples become stuck in patterns that neither partner intentionally creates, yet both feel the effects. Working with a caring and collaborative therapist can make it easier to recognize these cycles, understand what is driving them, and develop healthier ways of interacting. Using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method, I help couples rebuild trust, increase emotional intimacy, and create stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

Telehealth therapy is an excellent option when meeting in-person is not possible. In fact, studies have shown telehealth to be as effective as in-person counseling.
Video sessions are available for anyone located in Oregon and are HIPAA compliant. Life can get complicated with schedules and telehealth therapy can take place at the convenience and privacy of your home or office.
For clients who regularly attend in-person, telehealth can be an alternative when needed.
*Requirements for telehealth include a distraction-free private space and a stable internet and video connection. More details about telehealth therapy can be found on my teletherapy consent form.
